Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS) is one of the best universities in Indonesia, as according to the assessment by Indonesia’s Ministry of Research, Technology, and Higher Education (Kemristekdikti), as well as included in the Top 10 Universities in Indonesia on both the QS World University Ranking and the Times Higher Education (THE) World University Ranking.

In 2019, ITS proudly launched the establishment of 20 International Undergraduate Programs for Indonesian students alongside foreign students. The program is one of the International Undergraduate Programs being offered at Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember.
The Department of Information Systems under the Faculty of Intelligent Electrical and Informatics Technology, the Sepuluh November Technology Institute (ITS) Surabaya offers International Bachelor Program (also known as an IUP) is a bachelor program that applies English as the language of instruction.
The program offers a regular undergraduate curriculum and provides opportunities for students to participate in international activities in the form of: Excursion study,
Internship in international or multinational companies, Student Exchange, Summer / short course, Joint degree.
Undergraduate students are equipped with skills in designing and analyzing information system requirements for organizations, designing project development in the context of information systems in a comprehensive manner incorporating aspects of IT infrastructure (information technology), such as hardware, software, networks, data, organizational hierarchy, processes and procedures, resources human and cultural, and policies and regulations.
Graduates of the Undergraduate Department of Information Systems will provide knowledge on six roles, namely: Information and Data Engineer, System Analyst, Project Manager, Business Information Manager, Business Analyst, and IT Business Development.
There are two periods of admission for the ITS International Undergraduate Program. Indonesian Nationality and Non-Indonesian Nationality high school or its equivalent (minimum of 12-years of schooling) graduated no longer than three years at the date of admission are eligible to apply for both periods of admission.
In Bachelor Degree, students must complete 144 Semester Credit Units (SKS) which can be taken in 8 semesters (4 years). However, students may be able to graduate more quickly by following the courses beyond the standard load that is in accordance with the capacity of each student in each semester.
In the 6th semester, students can take elective courses in accordance with the desired areas of interest. Elective courses can come from one interest group only to further deepen students’ knowledge in a particular field, or can come from a group of different fields of interest to expand their knowledges.
In the 2018-2022 curriculum, there is no separation between courses and practicum. Lecture activities and practicum activities are implemented in one subject with a load of 3-4 credits. Activities can take place in the classroom or in the laboratory. Lecture activities are carried out to equip students with an understanding of the concept of knowledge / technology. Practicum activities are used to equip students with practical skills.
Another practical experience that must be followed by students is Job Training in the industry for 1 to 3 months with a load of 2 credits. This activity is to broaden students’ knowledges about the application of theory obtained from lectures. In the final stage, students take the Final Project with a load of 4 credits. The Final Project is intended to provide the ability for students to solve certain problem topics according to the area of expertise and compile scientific reports. This final project is comprehensive, written in accordance with scientific principles and must be accounted for in a final task in front of the examiner lecturer.
