Since its founding in 1960, Universitas Diponegoro (UNDIP) has been committed to grow and develop to be one of the world-class universities. UNDIP initiated many cooperations with various international universities and institutions. Partnerships conducted in the medical field were signed with Erasmus University Rotterdam, Australia, and Women and Children’s Hospital of Singapore. The cooperation in developing Base Camp Stem Cell Transplantation will make Diponegoro University the biggest center for Stem Cell Transplants in Indonesia.
UNDIP occupies the position of the top 5 best campuses in Indonesia on the 4ICU Web/Domain list published in January 2021. UNDIP ranked 8 in Indonesia in the QS World University Ranking and ranked 9 in Indonesia in the QS Asian University Ranking. In World Greenmetrics Ranking, UNDIP ranked 50 with a score of 7600 (ranked 4 in Indonesia). Nationally, UNDIP is also ranked as the best six universities in Indonesia and the only World Class University in Central Java.
UNDIP opens International Class for Undergraduates. The International Undergraduate Program (IUP) is designed as a special class with English as a medium of communication in all campus activities. The IUP class is designed to produce graduates who are globally competitive for prospective domestic and international students.

We recommend you ask the administrator of each program about all the details since not all important information is available online in English. Do call or text or email the admin about your questions or inquiries. The preferred tool is using WhatsApp, social media account, and email. Be prepared to have an admin who is not fluent in English, so speak slowly and clearly. Combine the communication with written format to avoid misunderstanding as far as you can.
Bear in mind that all Indonesian higher education institutions are able to accept international students in programs outside the ones labeled as "international programs." That means that those regular programs are held in Indonesian language, and all international students should have sufficient language capability to enter the program.
