Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS) is one of the best universities in Indonesia, as according to the assessment by Indonesia’s Ministry of Research, Technology, and Higher Education (Kemristekdikti), as well as included in the Top 10 Universities in Indonesia on both the QS World University Ranking and the Times Higher Education (THE) World University Ranking.
Complemented with a conducive green environment, over 1000 highly-qualified academic staff, and 180 hectares of total area, ITS prioritizes excellent and first-rate education, research, and innovation. Facts have shown that ITS’ many achievements are recognized both nationally and internationally.
In 2019, ITS proudly launched the establishment of 20 International Undergraduate Programs (IUP) for Indonesian students alongside foreign students. IUP is a bachelor program that implements English as the language of instruction. IUP is intended for Indonesian nationality and Non-Indonesian nationality high school graduates who meet the requirements set by ITS. The program offers a regular undergraduate curriculum and provides opportunities for students to take part in international exposure activities.
There are two periods of admission for the ITS International Undergraduate Program. Indonesian Nationality and Non-Indonesian Nationality high school or its equivalent (minimum of 12-years of schooling) graduated no longer than three years at the date of admission are eligible to apply for both periods of admission.

As for the Master and Doctoral program, ITS is not currently conducting a specifically designed international program in English. However, it is commonly understood that foreign students could enter Indonesian language-based programs as long as they have proof of their language proficiency. We recommend you ask the administrator of each program about all the details since not all important information is available online in English. Do call or text or email the admin about your questions or inquiries. The preferred tool is using WhatsApp, social media account, and email. Be prepared to have an admin who is not fluent in English, so speak slowly and clearly. Combine the communication with written format to avoid misunderstanding as far as you can.
Bear in mind that all Indonesian higher education institutions are able to accept international students in programs outside the ones labeled as "international programs." That means that those regular programs are held in Indonesian language, and all international students should have sufficient language capability to enter the program.
